Get Plugged In With Our Programs

This is our programming section that describes the things that we do regularly. These are more than just programs, they are programs with a purpose. They help us to grow closer to Christ together!

Sunday Evening Worship Service

All youth, grades 6-12 are welcome to join us on Sunday evenings from 6:00-8:00 p.m. for a worship service in the main youth room. This is a time of fun and fellowship, but most importantly a time where we meet God. We worship by praising God through song, and by hearing what the Bible has to say to us and responding to that. Come and see what God has to say to you!

We also have hang out time before and after the service. This includes indoor and outdoor games, and sometimes prizes and contests!

Once a month we go to Waterford United Methodist Church for a worship service. This church is located on Waterford Road, just outside of Fredericktown, Ohio. During this time we have games in the gym, a pizza party, and a worship in song and scripture service. Cost is $3.00 per student.

Community Service

Four times a year we go to "The Harbor," a branch of the Mt. Vernon Salvation Army. We do a variety of activities for them, ranging from cleaning to painting. It is a fun time!

We were just introduced to another opportunity called "Adopt a Highway." We will do this community service with a the church as a whole. Our church has been doing this for many years, and now we will be helping with it also. Every couple of months we will go out to a specified stretch of highway to participate in the clean up and up keep of that part of road.

We also have annual mission trips that are coming soon for both Jr. and Sr. High!

Through these opportunities, we have the chance to be an example of Jesus Christ to our community. This is important, and fun. Come join us for these service opportunities!

How old do you have to be to participate in our youth program?

We do not determine youth group participation by age. We determine it by grade level. If you are in grades 6-12, you are welcome to come and join us! We do have grade specific programs and events throughout the year, but all grades participate in Wednesday Connection, Sunday Worship Service, and Community Service.
