Dear Friends of Jesus,

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Jesus,

Dustin and I are looking for youth who want to participate in a Confirmation Class. This is for teens that are in grades 6 through 12.

We will be meeting during the Sunday school hour (10:00 a.m.) during the months of June, July, August, and September. Sunday, October 3 will not only be World Communion Sunday but will be Confirmation Sunday for those who complete training and decide to be confirmed in the Christian faith as well as enter the membership of Mulberry Street United Methodist Church.

Parents, it is important for you to know that confirmation students are required to attend a minimum of 80% (14 of 17) of the classes, to complete the written lessons and journal assignments, to attend field trips and service projects, and to work with an adult mentor throughout the confirmation process.

To register for confirmation, fill out and hand in the bulletin insert or call the church office (393-2576) by May 15. This deadline is essential so that we can recruit mentors for each participant and have sufficient materials for everyone.
