Dear Friends of Jesus,

You are invited to participate in resurrection!  On October 1, 2008 we are going to resurrect Wednesday Connection at Mulberry St. U.M.C.  [We are trying this for two reasons: a significant number of our Christian brothers and sisters have asked, and the “focus group” that surveyed the congregation last spring and reported its findings to the Administrative Council has recommended it.]  The schedule is as follows:

1. Wednesday Connection will begin at 5:45 p.m. with a potluck meal. 

2. 6:05 p.m. children will go to children’s music with Elizabeth; youth and adults will remain in fellowship hall to finish their meal, fellowship with one another, and join in body-building (i.e. the Body of Christ) activities. 

3. 6:30 p.m. children (3 years old through 5^th grade) will have Kid’s Club; youth (6^th through 12^th grades) will have Youth Choir from 6:30 - 7:00 p.m. and Youth Bible Study from 7:00 - 7:30 p.m.; adults will have a variety of cell groups from which to choose.

4. 7:30 p.m. we will head home.

We will have nursery care for children newborn through 2 years old. If you cannot make it in time for the meal, please come for the study time at 6:30 p.m. Details about the themes or subjects of the study time will be shared in next month’s “Messenger.” If you have any questions, call or email the church office.
